Refund Policy
Fixaars Inc - Refund Policy
Effective Date: April 15, 2025 | Last Updated: January 05, 2026
This Refund Policy explains Fixaars' limited role with respect to payments and refunds between Service Seekers and Service Providers.
1. Platform Role & Payment Disclaimer
Fixaars operates solely as a technology platform that connects Service Seekers with independent Service Providers.
Fixaars currently does not:
- Charge platform fees
- Collect or process payments
- Store payment or financial information
- Act as an escrow service
- Control, guarantee, or mediate financial transactions
All payments, refunds, cancellations, and financial arrangements are handled directly between the Service Seeker and the Service Provider, using any payment method they mutually agree upon (cash, mobile money, bank transfer, or third-party payment services). Fixaars makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, pricing, timing, legality, or outcome of services provided by Service Providers.
2. Refund Responsibility
Refunds are not issued, processed, or guaranteed by Fixaars.
Each Service Provider is solely responsible for:
- Defining their own refund and cancellation terms
- Determining refund eligibility
- Issuing refunds using their chosen payment method
Fixaars bears no financial responsibility or liability for refunds under any circumstances.
3. Provider-Defined Refund Terms
Service Providers are encouraged to clearly display their refund and cancellation terms on their profile.
Service Seekers are responsible for reviewing and understanding these terms before engaging a Service Provider.
Fixaars does not:
- Enforce provider refund policies
- Interpret refund terms
- Override provider decisions
4. General Refund Eligibility (Guidance Only)
While refund decisions are made entirely by Service Providers, refunds may typically be considered by a provider if:
- The service was not delivered as agreed
- The Service Provider did not show up
- The Service Seeker cancelled at least 12 hours before the scheduled appointment (if allowed by the provider)
These conditions are guidelines only and do not create any obligation, guarantee, or responsibility on the part of Fixaars.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are typically not granted when:
- The Service Seeker cancels within 12 hours of the appointment
- The service has been completed and accepted
- Dissatisfaction relates to service quality rather than non-delivery
Service quality concerns must be resolved directly between the Service Seeker and the Service Provider.
6. Refund Disputes
Fixaars does not mediate, resolve, or enforce refund disputes.
All disagreements related to payments or refunds must be handled directly between the Service Seeker and the Service Provider.
Fixaars customer support may provide general guidance only and does not negotiate, influence, or enforce refund outcomes.
7. Third-Party Payment Providers
If a Service Provider uses a third-party payment processor (including but not limited to Stripe, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, mobile money services, or banks):
- Refunds are subject to that provider's policies
- Processing times and eligibility may vary
- Fixaars cannot override third-party decisions or rules
8. Fraud, Abuse & Misconduct
While Fixaars does not process payments or mediate financial disputes, the platform reserves the right to investigate reports of fraud, abuse, or misconduct involving both Service Providers and Service Seekers.
If credible evidence is submitted and a user is found to have engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful behavior, Fixaars may, at its sole discretion:
- Suspend or terminate the user's account
- Remove the user permanently from the platform
- Restrict future access to Fixaars services
- Take additional action necessary to protect the platform and its users
Such enforcement actions are taken solely to maintain platform integrity and user safety and do not constitute financial liability, refund responsibility, or dispute mediation by Fixaars. Repeated reports or patterns of misconduct may result in account action even if individual incidents are disputed.
9. User Acknowledgment
By using the Fixaars platform, Service Seekers and Service Providers acknowledge and agree that:
- All payments and refunds occur outside the Fixaars platform
- Refund eligibility is determined solely by the Service Provider
- Fixaars is not a party to any financial agreement between users
10. Limitation of Liability
Fixaars is not liable for:
- Denied or delayed refunds
- Payment processing errors
- Chargebacks or financial losses
- Provider cancellation or non-performance
- Disputes arising from private financial arrangements
11. Governing Law
This Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, unless otherwise required by applicable local consumer protection laws.
